Like Goldilocks preference in soup, sleep is all about figuring out which mattress is just right for you.
If you receive too little of it, it is bad. You’re tired, you’re irate and it might be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, you’re weirdly tired, perhaps even a bit lethargic. Lacking sleep can cause you to miss out a perfectly nice day of activities.
Preferred sleeping positions also affect the quality of sleep we get as not sleeping the perfect way can affect how well our sleep is.

Making Sleep Better Weight of a Nectar Mattress
With their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Nectar Sleep is a mattress and bedding firm that made the Nectar Mattress as their flagship memory foam mattress.
The height of the mattress will depend on which type you’ll choose. There’s The Nectar, which is a 12″ profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13″ profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14″ profile. All mattresses have the patented three-layer all-foam bed which consists of a gel memory foam, dynamic support memory foam, and high-core memory foam; these three layers are sandwiched by a quilted cool cover and a Shift-resistant lower cover. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into each aspect, shall we?

The Duvet
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made of TENCEL lyocell and cotton. You get a wonderful feel on your body thanks to the fairly breathable and nice to the touch materials of the mattress.
Comfort Layer
Two comfort layers work hand-in-hand to give you not only comfort, but also a balance that makes it possible to distribute your weight evenly throughout the entire mattress.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that is made of quilted memory foam using a 4PCF Density, while the second layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was made so that it emulats like you are being embraced This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps handle bodily aches, and may help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it has a high-density memory foam which measures about 1.75 inches rather than the typical polyfoam other mattresses have. Thanks to this technology the mattress is able to press against your sleeping body without losing any of it’s firmness.
Support Layer
And finally, the service center. It contains a 2.2 PCF High-density polyfoam that’s about 5.25 inches thick. Together with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer base for the softer comfort layers. Because of this, you get a balanced, medium-firm sense without undermining the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?
Giving it a whirl, or more accurately, a rest, will require some prep time when you take it out of the box. We suggest you order it in the morning and start setting up hours before sleeping since it is going to take exactly that, hours before it’ll expand and reach its entire height.
Like a fine wine, it needs to breathe. Weight of a Nectar Mattress
After letting it rest out of the box for a few hours, trying it out after a long day of impatiently waiting, you will feel a soft embrace start to surround you. It has a deep embrace feeling to it that people who love sleeping “in” a bed rather than “on” it will love this one.
The mattress’ firmness can be described as medium, not too tough, not to soft, it feels balanced. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is very subjective, dependent not just on your taste, but also in your physicality. If you’re a bit on the other hand, this may feel somewhat more firm to you than others would.
It’s about Positioning
Just how does the Nectar mattress feel, that depends on what position you sleep in.
If you are a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your lumbar area however may need extra support, if it sinks a bit deeper but otherwise, it’s great for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s conforms itself which allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a perfect option for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the adverse effects side sleeping might have.
Stomach sleepers may not choose this mattress. You’ll definitely feel a sink into your abdomen area with this position, and you’re going to need to be very careful with this since it may impact your body adversely over time. A firmer mattress may be better suited to those who enjoy sleeping this way.
Couples will enjoy the bed a whole lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfy, moving around and changing positions won’t be as annoying with your spouse due to its motion isolation and edge support. Weight of a Nectar Mattress

Some Bodies to Love
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we’ll be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
As expected, a light sleeper will find the Nectar to be firm on the body. They experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it was not a very deep one. The experience could be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, these kinds of sleepers require a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.
But if you are a light sleeper and you’re looking for a firm bed that still has a bit of that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.
The Typical Sleeper
The average sleeper thought that the Nectar mattress was just as advertised — company with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling into the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was superior regardless of which sleeping position they went to bed in.
Heavy Sleepers
For heavy sleepers who want for something more firm, the Nectar Mattress may be the perfect fitThere’ll be a bit of sagging when the mattress begins to hug and form around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this firmness is your preference, it’s a wonderful pick.
The Sleep Test
Although we tried to get to as much as we could with our trial we know really having the ability to feel the mattress on your own, giving it an actual test is the best method to ascertain if it is for you. As much as we would like to give you a hard recommendation, it’s still all about your preference and we can only act as mediators of information.
Your right mix of everything you want and want to feel every night.
As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar wanted to one-up that, and offers a 365 day test period before fully committing to it. It’s like properly getting to know your mattress over a long period of time rather than of just after a few weeks of seeing each other.
It’s a great comfort to know that option is there, just in the event of anything.
