Like Goldilocks preference in soup, sleep is all about figuring out which mattress is just right for you.
If you get too little of it, it’s bad. You’re tired, you are irate and it could be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, you are weirdly tired, maybe even a bit lethargic. You might have missed some calls, or maybe even a meet up with a friend, and your day’s wasted.
Then there is your personal sleeping style and position to think about — because all of us know if we don’t sleep the right way, which is our own way, then something will fail.
To be able to wake up completely awake, everything needs to be perfect very much like baking. In the grand scheme of things, mattresses play a huge role in that. It’s one of the important ingredients in a good night’s sleep.
The Nectar Mattress has proven itself to be one of the most best mattresses available right now in the market. It is a three-layer memory foam mattress with mid-level firmness to cover a broad range of people’s sleeping preferences. High quality, smartly constructed and designed to help give you the best sleep you can ask for.

Building Better Sleep Nectar Mattress “Espanol”
With their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Nectar Sleep is a mattress and bedding company that designed the Nectar Mattress as their flagship memory foam bed.
Nectar Sleep has three mattresses with different profiles: The Nectar, which has a 12” profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13” profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14” profile. And as mentioned earlier it’s a three-layer, all-foam bed. It has a quilted cover and breathable base later, with the three layers of foam between: gel-infused memory foam, support memory foam, and high-density polyfoam. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into each facet, shall we?

The Cover
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made of TENCEL lyocell and cotton. Since both of the components are pretty breathable and feel nice to the touch, you get a nice feel on your body.
Comfort Layer
Two comfort layers work hand-in-hand to give you not only comfort, but also a balance that helps you distribute your weight evenly throughout the entire mattress.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that is made from quilted memory foam using a 4PCF Density, while the next layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was designed so that it feels like you are being hugged This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps manage bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it has a high-density memory foam which measures about 1.75 inches rather than the usual polyfoam other mattresses have. This improvement of the foam enhances how the mattress hugs against your body without it sagging too much.
Support Layer
And finally, the service core. Together with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer foundation for the softer comfort layers. Because of this, you receive a balanced, medium-firm sense without compromising the support of the mattress as a whole.

What’s it like?
Giving it a whirl, or more accurately, a rest, will require some prep time when you open it out of the packaging. We suggest you order it in the morning and begin setting up hours before sleeping since it is going to take precisely that, hours before it is going to expand and reach its entire height.
Like a fine wine, it needs to breathe. Nectar Mattress “Espanol”
After letting it rest out of the box for a few hours, lying down after a long day of impatiently waiting, you will feel a soft embrace start to surround you. It has a deep hug feeling to it that people who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will really enjoy this one.
Concerning firmness, it is around medium firmness — balanced, in that respect. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is very subjective, dependent not only on your taste, but also on your physicality. If you are a bit on the other hand, this may feel a bit more firm for you than others would.
It’s All About Positioning
So how does the Nectar mattress feel, that depends on what position you sleep in.
If you are a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your pelvic region however may need extra support, in case it sinks a bit deeper but it’s great for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s conforms itself which allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a great option for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the harmful effects side sleeping might have.
Stomach sleepers may not want this mattress. You’ll certainly feel a sink into your abdomen area with this position, and you’re going to have to be very careful with this since it might impact your body adversely with time. For those who sleep on their stomachs, we recommend that you choose a mattress that is firmer than this one as it may lead to adverse effects.
Having a restless partner on the same mattress as you won’t be as annoying as with another mattress thanks to Nectar’s motion isolation and edge support features, so both you and your partner can move about without the other knowing. Nectar Mattress “Espanol”

Some Bodies to Love
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we are going to be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
The lightweight sleeper will discover the mattress to be a little tough, which is to be expected. They experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it wasn’t a very profound one. The experience could be described as a sort of “floating” feel to it. Usually, such sleepers need a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.
But if you’re a light sleeper and you’re looking for a firm mattress which still has a little that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.
The Average Sleeper
The ordinary sleeper thought that the Nectar mattress was just as advertised — company with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling into the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was superior regardless of which sleeping position they went to bed in.
Heavyweight Sleepers
Although still very supportive, the Nectar Mattress was for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with medium firmness. There will be a bit of sagging when the mattress starts to hug and shape around heavyweight sleepers, but besides that, if this firmness is your preference, it is a wonderful pick.
Sleeping on the Nectar Mattress
Although we tried to get to as much as we could with our trial , we know really being able to feel the mattress on your own, giving it an actual test is the best way to ascertain if it’s for you. As much as we would want to give you a decision, it’s still all about your preference and we can only act as mediators of information.
Your right mix of what you want and want to feel every night.
As such, there are usually 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar desired to one-up that, and provides a 365 day evaluation period before fully committing to it. Think of it as getting to know your mattress long term before proposing, rather than popping the question after 3 or 4 months.
It’s a wonderful comfort to know that option is there, only in the event of anything.
