Like Goldilocks taste in soup, sleep is all about figuring out which mattress is just right for you.
If you get too little of it, it is bad. You’re tired, you’re irate and it might be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, then you’re weirdly tired, perhaps even a little lethargic. You might have missed some calls, or perhaps even a commitment with a buddy, and your day’s wasted.
Then there is your personal sleeping style and position to consider — because all of us know if we do not sleep the ideal way, which is our own way, then something will fail.
To be able to wake up completely awake, everything needs to be according to plan very much similar baking. In the grand scheme of things, mattresses play a large role in that. It’s one of the important ingredients in a good night’s sleep.

Making Sleep Better How to Move a Nectar Mattress
With the Nectar Mattress as their flagship product, Nectar Sleep is a bedding and mattress firm that is stationed in Palo Alto, California.
Nectar Sleep has three mattresses with different profiles: The Nectar, which has a 12” profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13” profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14” profile. And as mentioned earlier it is a three-layer, all-foam bed. It consists of a quilted cover and breathable base later, with the three layers of foam between: gel-infused memory foam, support memory foam, and high-density polyfoam. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into each aspect, shall we?

The Cover
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made from TENCEL lyocell and cotton. Since both of the components are fairly breathable and feel nice to the touch, you get a nice feel on your body.
Comfort Layer
Two comfort layers work hand-in-hand to give you not only comfort, but also a balance that helps you distribute your weight evenly throughout the entire mattress.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that is made of quilted memory foam with a 4PCF Density, while the second layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. They were created this way so that when you sleep on it, it seems like its hugging your body. This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps handle bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it has a high-density memory foam that measures about 1.75 inches instead of the usual polyfoam other mattresses have. This improvement of the foam enhances the way the mattress hugs against your body without sagging too much.
Support Layer
And finally, the support core. It consists of a 2.2 PCF High-density polyfoam that is about 5.25 inches thick. Together with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer foundation for the softer comfort layers. Because of this, you receive a balanced, medium-firm sense without undermining the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?
Giving it a whirl, or more accurately, a rest, will need some prep time when you take it out of the packaging. We suggest you purchase it in the morning and begin setting up hours before sleeping because it will take exactly that, hours before it’ll expand and reach its entire height.
Like a fine wine, it needs to breathe. How to Move a Nectar Mattress
After letting it rest out of the box for a few hours, lying down after a long day of patiently waiting, you will feel a soft embrace start to surround you. It’s a deep embrace feeling to it that those who love sleeping “in” a bed rather than “on” it will love this one.
The mattress’ firmness can be described as medium, not too hard, not to soft, it feels balanced. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is quite subjective, dependent not only on your preference, but also in your physicality. If you’re a bit on the lighter side, this may feel somewhat more firm to you than others might.
Positioning is the Key
So how does the Nectar mattress feel, that depends on what position you sleep in.
If you’re a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your pelvic region however may need additional support, if it sinks a bit deeper but otherwise, it’s great for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s sink allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a great option for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the adverse effects side sleeping might have.
Stomach sleepers may not want this mattress. You’ll definitely feel a sink into your abdomen area with this place, and you’re going to need to be very careful with this because it may affect your body adversely over time. A firmer mattress may be better suited to people who like sleeping this way.
Couples will enjoy the bed a lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfortable, moving around and changing positions won’t be as bothersome with your partner thanks to its motion isolation and edge support. How to Move a Nectar Mattress

Body Types for Nectar
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we’ll be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
As expected, a light sleeper will find the Nectar to be firm on the body. They experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it wasn’t a very profound one. The experience can be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, such sleepers require a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.
But if you are a light sleeper and you’re looking for a firm mattress which still has a little that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.
The Typical Sleeper
The ordinary sleeper discovered that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — firm with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling to the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was great no matter which sleeping position they went to bed in.
Heavy Sleepers
Although still quite supportive, the Nectar Mattress was more for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with medium firmness. There’ll be a bit of sagging when the mattress begins to hug and shape around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this stability is your preference, it’s a great pick.
Sleeping on the Nectar Mattress
Although we tried to cover as much as we could with our trial , we know actually having the ability to feel the mattress for yourself, giving it a real test is the best method to determine whether it’s for you. As much as we would like to give you a decision, it’s still all about your preference and we can only act as mediators of information.
Your right mix of everything you need and want to feel every evening.
As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar desired to one-up that, and offers a 365 day evaluation period before fully committing to it. It’s like properly courting your bed over a long period of time rather than of just after a few weeks of seeing each other.
It’s a great comfort to know that that option is there, just in the event of anything.
