Like Goldilocks preference in soup, sleep is all about finding out which mattress is just right for you.
If you get too little of it, it’s bad. You’re tired, you are irate and it might be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, then you are weirdly tired, perhaps even a little lethargic. You may have missed a few calls, or perhaps even a commitment with a friend, along with your day’s wasted.
Preferred sleeping settings also affect the quality of sleep we get as not sleeping the ideal way can affect how restful our sleep is.
Much like baking, you have to get everything to come off with that perfect batch of “sleep.” In the grand scheme of things, mattresses play a large role in that. It’s one of the important ingredients in a fantastic night’s sleep.

Making Sleep Better How Difficult is It to Move a Nectar Mattress
With the Nectar Mattress as their flagship product, Nectar Sleep is a bedding and mattress firm that is stationed in Palo Alto, California.
The height of the mattress will depend on which type you’ll choose. There’s The Nectar, which is a 12″ profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13″ profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14″ profile. All mattresses have the patented three-layer all-foam bed which consists of a gel memory foam, dynamic support memory foam, and high-core memory foam; these three layers are sandwiched by a quilted cool cover and a Shift-resistant lower cover. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into each aspect, shall we?

The Duvet
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made from TENCEL lyocell and cotton. You get a wonderful feel on your body thanks to the pretty breathable and nice to the touch components of the mattress.
Comfort Layer
Making it possible to distribute your weight for a more comfy sleep, Nectar Mattress has two layers that prioritize comfort and proper sleep posture.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that’s made from quilted memory foam with a 4PCF Density, while the second layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was designed so that it emulats like you are being embraced This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, can help manage bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it’s a high-density memory foam that measures about 1.75 inches instead of the typical polyfoam other mattresses have. Thanks to this technology the mattress is able to press against your sleeping body without losing any of it’s firmness.
Support Layer
And finally, the support core. It contains a 2.2 PCF High-density polyfoam that’s about 5.25 inches thick. Together with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer base for the softer comfort layers. Because of this, you receive a balanced, medium-firm feel without undermining the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?
Giving it a whirl, or more accurately, a rest, will require some prep time when you open it out of the packaging. We suggest you purchase it in the morning and begin setting up hours before sleeping because it is going to take exactly that, hours before it is going to expand and reach its full height.
Like a good wine, it first needs to breathe. How Difficult is It to Move a Nectar Mattress
Once you lie down, give it a few moments and before you know it, the memory foam will begin kicking into high gear and you’ll feel a tender embrace over your body. It has a deep embrace feeling to it that people who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will love this one.
In terms of firmness, it’s around medium firmness — balanced, in that regard. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is quite subjective, dependent not only on your taste, but also in your physicality. If you are a bit on the other hand, this may feel somewhat more firm to you than others would.
Positioning is the Key
So how does the Nectar mattress feel, depending on what position you sleep in.
If you are a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a perfect neutral position. Your pelvic region however may need additional support, if it sinks a bit deeper but otherwise, it’s terrific for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s sink allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. The uniform pressure release of the mattress counters the negative effect this sleeping place could have on your body, so this bed is looking like a great choice for this position.
Stomach sleepers may not want this mattress. You’ll certainly feel a sink in your abdomen area with this position, and you’re going to need to be very careful with this since it might affect your body adversely with time. For those who sleep on their stomachs, we would recommend that you choose a mattress that is firmer than this one as it may lead to adverse effects.
Couples will enjoy the bed a lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfortable, moving around and changing positions won’t be as annoying with your partner due to its motion isolation and edge support. How Difficult is It to Move a Nectar Mattress

Body Types for Nectar
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we’ll be getting into body types and how different body types react differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
The lightweight sleeper will discover the mattress quite small firm, which is to be expected. They still experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it wasn’t a very profound one. The experience can be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, such sleepers need a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.
However, if you are a light sleeper and you’re looking for a firm mattress which still has a bit of that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.
The Average Sleeper
The average sleeper discovered that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — company with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling to the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was great regardless of which sleeping position they went to bed in.
Heavyweight Sleepers
Although still quite supportive, the Nectar Mattress was for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with medium firmness. There will be a little sagging when the mattress begins to hug and form around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this firmness is your preference, it is a great pick.
The Sleep Test
Although we tried to get to as much as we can with our trial we know really having the ability to feel the mattress on your own, giving it a real test is the best method to determine whether it’s for you. We can only act as a guide since, at the end of the day, it is all about your preference.
Your right mix of everything you need and want to feel every night.
As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar desired to one-up that, and provides a 365 day evaluation period before fully committing to it. Consider it as getting to know your mattress long term before putting a ring on it, as opposed to popping the question after 3 or 4 weeks.
It’s a great comfort to know that that option is there, just in case of anything.
