Sleep isn’t a science, nor is it an art. It is a matter of precision, of getting it just perfect.
If you get too little of it, it’s bad. You’re tired, you are irate and it might be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, then you are weirdly tired, maybe even a little lethargic. You may have missed some calls, or perhaps even a commitment with a friend, and your day’s wasted.
Then there’s your individual sleeping style and arrangement to think about — because all of us know if we don’t sleep the ideal way, which is our own way, then something will fail.
Much like baking, you have to get everything right, to come away with that perfect batch of “sleep.” In the grand scheme of things, mattresses play a huge role in that. It is one of the important ingredients in a fantastic night’s sleep.
The Nectar Mattress has proven itself to be one of the most best mattresses available right now available. It’s a three-layer memory foam mattress with mid-level firmness to cover a broad selection of people’s sleeping preferences. High quality, smartly constructed and designed to help give you the best sleep you can ask for.

Building Better Sleep Does the Nectar Mattress Come With a Boxspring?
With the Nectar Mattress as their flagship product, Nectar Sleep is a mattress and bedding company that is stationed in Palo Alto, California.
Nectar Sleep has three mattresses with different profiles: The Nectar, which has a 12” profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13” profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14” profile. And as mentioned earlier it’s a three-layer, all-foam bed. It has a quilted cover and breathable base later, with the three layers of foam between: gel-infused memory foam, support memory foam, and high-density polyfoam. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into each aspect, shall we?

The Cover
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made of TENCEL lyocell and cotton. Since both of the materials are fairly breathable and feel nice to the touch, you get a wonderful feel on your body.
The Layer for Comfort
Helping you distribute your weight for a more comfy sleep, Nectar Mattress has two layers that takes into account comfort and proper sleep posture.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that’s made of quilted memory foam with a 4PCF Density, while the next layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was designed so that it feels like you are being hugged This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, can help handle bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it’s a high-density memory foam that measures about 1.75 inches instead of the usual polyfoam other mattresses have. This improvement of the foam enhances the way the mattress hugs your body without sagging too much.
Support Layer
And finally, the support center. Together with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer base for the softer comfort layers. As a result of this, you receive a balanced, medium-firm feel without compromising the support of the mattress as a whole.

What’s it like?
Taking it out for a spin — or rather, for a sleep — takes a while right from the box. We suggest you order it in the morning and start setting up hours before sleeping because it will take precisely that, hours before it is going to expand and reach its entire height.
Like a fine wine, it first needs to breathe. Does the Nectar Mattress Come With a Boxspring?
Once you lie down, give it a few moments and before you know it, the memory foam will start kicking into high gear and you will feel a tender embrace over your body. It’s a deep embrace feeling to it that those who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will really enjoy this one.
The mattress’ firmness can be described as medium, not too hard, not to squishy, it feels perfectly balanced. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is quite subjective, dependent not just on your taste, but also in your physicality. If you are a bit on the lighter side, this may feel somewhat more firm to you than others might.
Positioning is the Key
So how does the Nectar mattress feel, depending on what position you sleep in.
If you’re a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your pelvic region however may need extra support, in case it sinks a bit deeper but it’s terrific for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s conforms itself which allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a great choice for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the adverse effects side sleeping might have.
Stomach sleepers may not choose this mattress. You’ll definitely feel a sink into your abdomen area with this place, and you’ll have to be very careful with that since it might affect your body adversely with time. A firmer mattress may be better suited to people who enjoy sleeping this way.
Couples will appreciate the bed a whole lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfortable, moving around and changing positions won’t be as annoying with your partner thanks to its movement isolation and edge support. Does the Nectar Mattress Come With a Boxspring?

Some Bodies to Love
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we’ll be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
As expected, a light sleeper will find the Nectar to be firm on the body. They experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it was not a very profound one. The experience can be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, these kinds of sleepers need a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.
However, if you’re a light sleeper and you’re searching for a firm mattress which still has a bit of that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress would be great.
The Average Sleeper
The average sleeper discovered that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — firm with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling to the bed. There was no sagging, superior body relief and regardless of the sleeping position, it was great.
Heavyweight Sleepers
Although still very supportive, the Nectar Mattress was more for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with medium firmness. There’ll be a little sagging when the mattress begins to hug and form around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this stability is your preference, it is a wonderful pick.
Sleeping on the Nectar Mattress
Although we tried to cover as much as we can with our trial , we know really being able to feel the mattress on your own, giving it a real test is the best method to determine whether it is for you. As much as we would want to give you a hard recommendation, it’s still all about your preference and we can only act as mediators of information.
Your right mix of everything you want and want to feel each evening.
As such, there are usually 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar desired to one-up that, and offers a 365 day test period before fully committing to it. Think of it as getting to know your mattress long term before proposing, as opposed to popping the question after 3 or 4 weeks.
It’s a great comfort to know that that option is there, only in case of anything.
