Building Better Sleep Cmattress Nectar Mattress
With their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Nectar Sleep is a mattress and bedding company that designed the Nectar Mattress as their flagship memory foam bed.
Nectar Sleep has three mattresses with different profiles: The Nectar, which has a 12” profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13” profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14” profile. And as mentioned earlier it is a three-layer, all-foam bed. It has a quilted cover and breathable base later, with the three layers of foam between: gel-infused memory foam, support memory foam, and high-density polyfoam. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.
Let’s dig into every facet, shall we?

The Cover
Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made of TENCEL lyocell and cotton. Since both of the components are pretty breathable and feel nice to the touch, you get a nice feel on your body.
Comfort Layer
Two comfort layers work hand-in-hand to provide you not only comfort, but also a balance that helps you distribute your weight evenly throughout the entire mattress.
The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that is made from quilted memory foam with a 4PCF Density, while the second layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was made so that it feels like you are being hugged This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps handle bodily aches, and may help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.
Transitional Layer
For the transitional layer, it has a high-density memory foam which measures about 1.75 inches instead of the usual polyfoam other mattresses have. This improvement of the foam enhances the way the mattress hugs your body without it sagging too much.
Support Layer
And finally, the service core. It contains a 2.2 PCF High-density polyfoam that’s about 5.25 inches thick. Along with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer base for the softer comfort layers. As a result of this, you get a balanced, medium-firm feel without compromising the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?
Taking it out for a spin — or rather, for a sleep — takes some time right out of the box. We suggest you purchase it in the morning and start setting up hours before sleeping since it will take exactly that, hours before it’ll expand and reach its full height.
Like a fine wine, it first needs to breathe. Cmattress Nectar Mattress
After letting it rest out of the box for a few hours, trying it out after a long day of impatiently waiting, you will feel a tender embrace start to surround you. It has a deep embrace feeling to it that those who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will love this one.
In terms of firmness, it is around medium firmness — balanced, in that respect. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is very subjective, dependent not just on your preference, but also in your physicality. If you’re a bit on the other hand, this may feel somewhat more firm for you than others might.
It’s about Positioning
Just how does the Nectar mattress feel, that depends on what position you sleep in.
If you are a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a perfect neutral position. Your pelvic region however may need extra support, in case it sinks a bit deeper but it’s great for back sleepers.
For side sleepers, the memory foam’s sink allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. The uniform pressure release of the mattress really counters the negative effect this sleeping position could have on your body, so this bed is alreadylooking like a wonderful pick for this position.
Stomach sleepers may not want this mattress. You’ll certainly feel a sink in your abdomen area with this position, and you’re going to have to be very careful with that since it may impact your body adversely with time. A firmer mattress might be better suited to those who like sleeping this way.
Couples will appreciate the bed a lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfy, moving around and changing positions won’t be as annoying with your spouse thanks to its motion isolation and edge support. Cmattress Nectar Mattress

Body Types for Nectar
For a more comprehensive breakdown, we are going to be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.
The Lightweight Sleeper
As expected, a light sleeper will discover the Nectar to be tough on the body. They still experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it was not a very deep one. The experience can be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, these kinds of sleepers require a soft to firm bed if they want that deep body hug.
However, if you are a light sleeper and you’re searching for a firm mattress which still has a bit of that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.
The Typical Sleeper
The average sleeper discovered that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — firm with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling into the bed. There was no sagging, superior body relief and no matter the sleeping position, it was good.
Heavy Sleepers
Although still quite supportive, the Nectar Mattress was more for those heavy sleepers who wanted something with moderate stability. There’ll be a bit of sagging when the mattress begins to hug and form around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this firmness is your preference, it is a great pick.
Sleeping on the Nectar Mattress
Although we tried to get to as much as we can with our review, we know actually being able to feel the mattress on your own, giving it an actual test is the best method to ascertain if it is for you. We can only act as a guide since, in the end of the day, it’s all about your own preference.
Your right mix of everything you want and want to feel every evening.
As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar wanted to one-up that, and provides a 365 day test period before fully committing to it. Think of it as dating your mattress long term before putting a ring on it, rather than popping the question after 3 or 4 months.
It’s a wonderful comfort to know that that option is there, just in the event of anything.
Final Thoughts: Where Dreams Begin Cmattress Nectar Mattress

If the bed you are looking for is one not too soft, as well as you aren’t a stomach sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress may as well be the perfect addition to your sleeping apparatus.
