Like Goldilocks preference in soup, sleep is all about figuring out which mattress is just right for you.

If you get too little of it, it’s bad. You’re tired, you’re irate and it might be the first step to a ruined day. If you get too much of it, then you’re weirdly tired, perhaps even a little lethargic. Lacking sleep could cause you to miss out a perfectly nice day of commitments.

Then there’s your individual sleeping style and position to consider — because we all know if we do not sleep the right way, which is our own way, then something will fail.

Much like baking, you have to get everything right, to come off with that perfect batch of “sleep.” In the grand scheme of things, mattresses play a large part in that. It’s one of the key ingredients in a good night’s sleep.

Building Better Sleep Nectar or Casper Bed Reviews

With their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, Nectar Sleep is a bedding and mattress firm that made the Nectar Mattress as their flagship memory foam mattress.

The height of the mattress will depend on which type you’ll choose. There’s The Nectar, which is a 12″ profile; the Nectar Premier, which has a 13″ profile; and the Nectar Premier Copper, which has a 14″ profile. All mattresses have the signature three-layer all-foam bed which has a gel memory foam, dynamic support memory foam, and high-core memory foam; these three layers are sandwiched by a quilted cool cover and a Shift-resistant lower cover. Remember, the thickness isn’t everything, so it’s good to dive into the different parts of the mattress.

Let’s dig into every aspect, shall we?

The Cover

Removable and wash friendly, the cover is made from TENCEL lyocell and cotton. You get a wonderful feel on your body thanks to the pretty breathable and nice to the touch materials of the mattress.

The Layer for Comfort

Helping you distribute your weight for a more comfy sleep, Nectar Mattress has two layers that takes into account comfort and proper sleep posture.

The first layer is a 1-inch top layer that is made of quilted memory foam with a 4PCF Density, while the next layer is 3 inches and is made of 3.5PCF gel memory foam. Like a gentle embrace, this layer was made so that it emulats like you are being embraced This is turn helps stops pressure points from building up, helps manage bodily aches, and can help improve spinal alignment for side sleepers.

Transitional Layer

For the transitional layer, it has a high-density memory foam that measures about 1.75 inches instead of the typical polyfoam other mattresses have. Because of this technology the mattress is able to press against your sleeping body without losing any of it’s firmness.

Support Layer

And finally, the service core. Along with the transitional layer, the polyfoam base gives the mattress a firmer base for the softer comfort layers. As a result of this, you get a balanced, medium-firm sense without undermining the support of the mattress as a whole.

How Does It Feel?

Giving it a whirl, or more accurately, a rest, will need some prep time when you open it out of the packaging. We suggest you purchase it in the morning and start setting up hours before sleeping since it will take exactly that, hours before it is going to expand and reach its full height.

Like a fine wine, it first needs to breathe. Nectar or Casper Bed Reviews

Once you lie down, give it a few seconds and before you know it, the memory foam will start kicking into high gear and you will feel a soft embrace over your body. It’s a deep hug feeling to it that people who love sleeping “in” a bed instead of “on” it will really enjoy this one.

In terms of firmness, it is around medium firmness — balanced, in that regard. A 6/10 if ever. Firmness though is very subjective, dependent not only on your taste, but also on your physicality. If you’re a bit on the lighter side, this may feel somewhat more firm to you than others might.

Positioning is the Key

Just how does the Nectar mattress feel, that depends on what position you sleep in.

If you’re a back sleeper, then the Nectar Mattress will feel fantastic for you. It gives you the support you need while keeping your spine in a nice neutral position. Your lumbar area however may need extra support, in case it sinks a bit deeper but otherwise, it’s terrific for back sleepers.

For side sleepers, the memory foam’s conforms itself which allows your shoulders and hips to feel relief as you shift your weight down. This mattress is a perfect option for side sleepers as the uniform pressure release of the bed counters the harmful effects side sleeping might have.

Stomach sleepers may not choose this mattress. You’ll certainly feel a sink in your abdomen area with this place, and you’re going to have to be very careful with that since it may impact your body adversely over time. For those who sleep on their stomachs, we recommend that you choose a mattress that is firmer than this one as it may lead to adverse effects.

Couples will appreciate the bed a whole lot. Aside from being spacious enough to hold both of your comfortable, moving around and changing positions won’t be as annoying with your partner due to its motion isolation and edge support. Nectar or Casper Bed Reviews

Some Bodies to Love

For a more comprehensive breakdown, we are going to be getting into body types and how different body types respond differently to the Nectar Mattress.

The Lightweight Sleeper

As expected, a light sleeper will find the Nectar to be tough on the body. They still experienced the “hugging” sensation, but it wasn’t a very deep one. The experience could be described as a kind of “floating” feel to it. Usually, these kinds of sleepers require a soft to firm bed if they need that deep body hug.

However, if you’re a light sleeper and you’re searching for a firm bed that still has a little that hugging feel, then the Nectar Mattress will be great.

The Typical Sleeper

The ordinary sleeper discovered that the Nectar mattress was exactly as advertised — firm with a deep, supportive feel that lets you sink in just enough, without it feeling like you’re falling into the bed. They felt that it was a good product because no sagging was felt, the body relief it provided after a long day was superior no matter which sleeping position they went to bed in.

Heavy Sleepers

For heavy sleepers who want for something more firm, the Nectar Mattress may be the perfect fitThere’ll be a little sagging when the mattress starts to hug and shape around heavyweight sleepers, but other than that, if this firmness is your preference, it’s a great pick.

The Sleep Test

Although we tried to get to as much as we can with our review, we know actually having the ability to feel the mattress on your own, giving it a real test is the best method to determine whether it is for you. As much as we would want to give you a decision, it’s still all about your preference and we can only act as mediators of information.

Your right mix of what you want and want to feel each night.

As such, there are generally 90 to 120-day sleep trials for most mattresses. Nectar wanted to one-up that, and provides a 365 day test period before fully committing to it. It’s like properly courting your bed over a long period of time instead of just after a few months of seeing each other.

It’s a great comfort to know that option is there, only in case of anything.

Final Thoughts: Where Dreams Begin Nectar or Casper Bed Reviews

So is this the mattress for you?

If you’re not searching for a particularly bouncy bed, and perhaps if you’re not a tummy sleeper then this may be the next and best addition to your home.

Thanks to the cost-efficient materials that supply a affordable price and equally as great comfort, Nectar’s mattress is great option for your bedroom Nectar’s managed to make a memory foam with all of the experts, and significantly fewer drawbacks, which in itself makes it at least worth giving serious consideration for.

Or should you trust us, dive in now, and sink into something special with the Nectar Mattress. Your stress levels depend on it!
